Goal:
Build up each home pile by suit, from A to K (A, 2, 3, …).
Moving Cards:
You can organise the columns by moving cards in descending order and alternating colors (like 5 on 6).
You can move a whole group of cards if they’re in sequence.
Stockpile and Waste Pile:
Click the stockpile to flip 3 cards to the waste. The top waste card is playable.
Empty Columns:
Only a K can start a new column.

Playing Turn-Three Face-Up Klondike Solitaire — The Layout

Despite combining two Klondike Solitaire variants, Turn-Three Face-Up Klondike Solitaire is anything but complicated to understand, as it inherits the layout of its parent games. TheSolitaire offers a neatly organized and interactive online game setup that removes the hassle of setting the game up yourself. Still, understanding the game’s layout can help enhance your performance.

There are four main areas in the Klondike Solitaire layout:

1.The Tableau
The main play area has seven columns, with the first containing one card, the second card containing two cards, the third containing three cards, and so on, with the seventh column containing seven cards. All cards on the Tableau are also face-up.
2.The Stockpile
After dealing out the Tableau, the remaining cards go into the Stockpile. You can draw from it at any point in the game, but how many cards you draw depends on the variant. In Turn-One Solitaire, you only reveal one card with each draw. In Turn-Three, you reveal three cards onto the Wastepile but can only play the top card at any point. Of course, you don’t need to use up all three cards before drawing your next set of three cards.
3.The Waste Pile
Drawing cards from the Stockpile sends them to the Wastepile, where they can either be played on the Tableau. Conversely, you could keep drawing cards, but remember that oce the Stockpile is depleted, the Wastepile is reshuffled to form a new Stockpile.
4.The Foundation
There are four Foundation piles that you’ll build in ascending order for each suit, from Ace to King.

Move with Purpose

1.Now we move on to the important part — the rules. If you have experience with Klondike Solitaire, you’ll find these rules quite straightforward. If you’re new to the game, however, don’t worry — it’ll be quick and easy for you to learn!
2.To meet the game’s objective, you can move face-up cards within the Tableau columns such that they migrate on top of a card that is one rank higher and of the opposite color (e.g., move a black 10 onto a red Jack). Furthermore, you can move either a single card or a group of cards stacked in descending order as a unit (e.g., move a stack of a black 3, red 2, and black Ace on top of a red 4). Through moving cards around, if a Tableau column becomes empty, you can only place a King or a sequence starting with a King in that place.
3.If you ever find yourself stuck with no moves available on Tableau, turn to the Stockpile. Draw three cards from the Stockpile into the Wastepile right next to it, where the top-most drawn card must be moved to either the Tableau or Foundation piles before the card beneath it is available for play. Don’t forget that only one card from the Wastepile moves at a time.
