All in a Row Golf Solitaire is played with a standard deck of 52 cards.
Deal every card face-up in 13 columns with 4 cards each.
Move every card to the Foundation Pile.
You have plenty of cards available, but one wrong move and it’s all over!
All in a Row is a very challenging version of the game and requires skill and strategy to win.
In All in a Row, the Tableau consists of 13 columns with 4 cards each. The cards should partially overlap so every card’s rank is visible.
Arrange the columns in a single row (or two rows if you don’t have enough room).
Every card in the Tableau is dealt face-up.
Leave room above the Tableau for a single Foundation Pile.
Your goal is to move every card to the Foundation Pile. You win when the Tableau is empty.
You can move any fully exposed card to the Foundation Pile if it is one rank above or below the card at the top of the pile.
For example, if the top card on the Foundation Pile is a Jack, you can only add a 10 or a Queen.
Unlike regular Golf Solitaire, you can add an Ace on top of a King or a King on top of an Ace.
Suits don’t matter in All in a Row.
You cannot move cards around in the Tableau or add cards back to the Tableau.
The game is over when there are no cards in the Tableau that can be moved to the Foundation Pile.
Deal 13 columns with 4 cards each, all face-up.
Leave a single space for the Foundation Pile.
Move any card to the Foundation Pile that is one rank above or below the top card on the pile.
You win when the Tableau is empty!
All in a Row is easy to learn but difficult to master. All you need to do is move cards one by one from the Tableau to the Foundation Pile, but they must be moved very strategically.
It’s easy to get stuck when playing All in a Row, so here are some tips to improve your odds of winning:
You need to think at least two moves ahead to win at All in a Row. Otherwise, you’ll get stuck with plenty of cards still left in the Tableau.
When choosing between two or more cards to move to the Foundation Pile, always look at the cards underneath them first. Play the one that will reveal a more advantageous card.
Playing a card that covers another card is usually preferable to playing the last card in a column. An empty space in the Tableau won’t help you with your next move, but another playable card will.
